From Kate Moss to cashmere
Artist Marc Quinn teams up with Lucien Pellat-Finet. By Danielle Radojcin
From Kate Moss to cashmere: British artist Marc Quinn, famous for his white marble statue of the supermodel in yogic pose, has entered into another fashionable enterprise. His latest venture is a collaboration with French cashmere specialist Lucien Pellat-Finet, on an exclusive collection comprising of three jumpers and a blanket. Each features a brightly coloured blossom theme, taken from the artist's Frozen Flowers series. Although admitting the designs were "horribly difficult to do", Pellat-Finet, who is a keen collector of Quinn's work, wanted to capture the "dreamlike" world of the artist. The collection will be available to buy from next week at the Lucien Pellat-Finet boutique in London's Belgravia.
