Liam Gallagher launches clothing line
Oasis front man Liam Gallagher launches his first ever clothing collection, Pretty Green
Oasis singer Liam Gallagher today launched his first ever fashion collection.
The menswear range, called Pretty Green, is currently available exclusively online from the label's namesake e-boutique, but will be stocked in Selfridges later on in the year for fans of his rock ‘n' roll style. The jury's still out on the psychedelic looking logo (which bears more than a passing resemblance to the cover art of his idols, the Beatles' Rubber Soul album), but it's fair to say that the collection reflects the Manchester rock star's signature style: all modish t-shirts, skinny scarves, oversized parka coats and classic polo shirts.
What's more, there are plans to expand the range to include trousers, knitwear and accessories later in the year.
Liam Gallagher said in a statement, "Clothes and music are my passion. Wearing top clothes and singing in tune are pretty important. If people like the collection, cool, if they don't, they don't."
The line has proved a hit so far with eager fans crashing the Pretty Green site earlier today in a scramble to buy the limited edition pieces.
