Debenhams to hire Henry Holland
It-boy Henry Holland is in talks with department store Debenhams to help draw a younger crowd.
Department store Debenhams is in talks with British designer Henry Holland to join its Designers At Debenhams team. This would mean joining a group which already includes the likes of Julien Macdonald, Betty Jackson and John Rocha.
Although nothing has been confirmed as yet, it is believed the store is keen to attract a younger crowd, to compete with its high street rivals Topshop and Uniqlo.
Holland, who shows his collections as part of London Fashion Week, would be perfectly placed to fill such a role. As well as being best friends with supermodel Agyness Deyn, he is regularly seen out partying with London's hip young set, including Pixie Geldof, Daisy Lowe and Alice Dellal.
