Betty Jackson supports Breast Cancer charity

British designer Betty Jackson has designed a bespoke pin for Avon and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Betty Jackson has designed an exclusive, bespoke lapel pin for Avon's Breast Cancer Crusade to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. The British designer, famous for her easy-to-wear pieces and modern classics, was enlisted by Avon to mark the world's biggest beauty brand's 50th anniversary and their long term involvement in breast cancer charity work. 

Jackson has created a luxury made-to-order pin, which retails at £7,500 and is crafted from 18 carat white gold and 1.5 carat round brilliance diamonds, as well as a more affordable version that will sell for £1.50. The proceeds raised from the sales of both pins, which will be available to buy throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, will go to breast cancer charities.

"So many of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer," said Jackson. "Having witnessed some of my closest friends battle the disease and more often than not fight it, I am compelled to join Avon in their crusade to raise money both to promote awareness and to fund research. I hope women across the UK will wear the pin and I'm proud to be a part of a really fantastic cause."
