Fashion news 25 September 2008
Buzz is building around the imminent opening of Europe's largest inner-city shopping centre. Westfield London, scheduled to open in Shepherd's Bush on 30 October, will contain your high street old-faithfuls like Marks and Spencer, high-end brands like Mulberry, and just about every other label you can imagine in-between. But it's not just fashion. The three-level space will devote an entire level to food, with no less than 17 restaurants running along the Southern Terrace. Oh, and if that's not enough, some areas will be open 24 hours a day, and there are plans for a 14-screen cinema and state-of-the-art gym to open next year. Getting there shouldn't be a problem either, with a new, improved tube station, and a station situated directly outside. It's time to start shopping, American-style!
