Handbag of the week: Alexander McQueen
Daisy clutch from a selection from Alexander McQueen. By Jemma Tibbals
Lavish and unconventional, Alexander McQueen's collections never fail to fly the flag for British fashion while being paraded in Paris. Although it seems McQueen's heart belongs to England (he is practically synonymous with the Union Jack thanks to the constant nod he gives it in his designs) his head was somewhere else, it seems, when designing his latest spring/summer collection. The world and its conservation was a running theme, with stuffed endangered animals (not real we hope!) sharing the catwalk. Bark prints and intricate flowers on dresses and skinny trousers made this a serene show of Mother Nature's most beautiful elements.

The box clutch is a signature style of McQueen's accessory range but we've never seen one quite as jaw-droppingly beautiful as this. The exquisite daisy clutch comes in gold with a skull clasp that has pearl eye sockets. McQueen rocks our world!
