Interview: Charlotte Dellal

The glamorous shoe designer talks high heels and fashion inspiration with Danielle Radojcin.

Charlotte Olympia Dellal is designer of the shoe label, Charlotte Olympia. A 2004 Cordwainers graduate, the half-English, half-Brazilian self-confessed heels obsessive hails from a family for whom the term jet-set glamour could have been coined: the daughter of Brazilian property developer Guy Dellal and former model Andrea, her brother Alexander dates Grace Kelly’s granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi, while her sister Alice is a successful model and girl-about-town. Her debut shoe collection was picked up by Dover Street Market in London last year, and, now in her second season, her autumn/winter 2008 collection will be stocked at Browns, Net-A-Porter and Harvey Nichols.
