You can always rely on SJP to work a classic princess gown to the max and the gorgeous black frock she wore to a gala dinner in Washington saw her channelling the chic style of Princess Margaret in the ‘60s. The full skirt is perfectly balanced by the neat sleeveless top and the rich iridescent fabric looks incredibly luxurious. Sarah-Jessica’s dramatic up-do completes the retro look.
