With just three days to go until the most anticipated film of the year hits the big screen here in the UK, last night saw the world premiere of Sex And The City 2 in its rightful home setting of New York (remember the first part got its premiere in London, amid much controversy?).
True to form, all headlines this morning are not about the film itself, but its four glamorous co-stars and their red carpet battle of the dresses. Who won? It\'s a toughie. These girls have a glam squad to rival none other and getting it wrong is, like, so not an option.
Sarah Jessica Parker looked radiant in lemon silk Valentino Couture and seemed so happy with her choice she twirled her way down the red carpet. Kristin Davis was pretty in pink vintage Jean Desses, Kim Cattrall dazzled in a gold embellished Naeem Khan gown while Cynthia Nixon played it safe but super-elegant in a classic Carolina Herrera black strapless fishtail number.
For those needing a break from all that perfection, a little crazy came in the form of Liza Minnelli who has a cameo in the movie performing Beyonce\'s Single Ladies at a wedding. Her silver lamé trouser suit combo left little to the imagination, but hey, at least she tried!
All the leading men in Carrie\'s life were there too - gay best friend Stamford (Willie Garson), Mr Big (Chris Noth), Aidan (John Corbett), plus Samantha\'s Absolut hunk of an ex, Smith Jared (Jason Lewis).
