Amidst a summer of rain, the sun finally shone for Wednesday evening\'s Serpentine Gallery summer party in London\'s Hyde Park. Co-hosted with Swarovski, guests at what has come to be known as one of the capital\'s most glamorous annual events included Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, Lydia Hearst (left), and newly-weds Mr and Mrs Rod Stewart. The crowd wandered around the specially-designed temporary installation (by architects Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher), sipping on Laurent-Perrier Champagne, and a special \'Crystal Martini\' created by Grey Goose vodka. Notable fashion statements were made by a vintage Calvin Klein-clad Kruger, Liberty Ross in a Jens Laugesen cream silk cocktail dress, and Jefferson Hack\'s girlfriend Anouk Lepere, who wore a Giles dress from the A/W 07 collection, adorned with Swarovksi crystals. With all proceeds of the bash going to the Serpentine\'s Programmes of modern and contemporary Art, Architecture and Education, the guests wasted no time in getting down on the dancefloor, to music provided by Queens of Noize and Rob da Bank
