Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attend 10th annual ARK gala dinner at Kensington Palace. Catherine wears Jenny Packham dress and LK Bennett shoes and clutch.
Its official. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, has cemented her style icon status with the princess-perfect rose-coloured Jenny Packham dress, and complementary LK Bennett shoes and clutch she chose for her first official engagement with new hubbie, Prince William. The worlds most famous couple were joined at the charity event by A-list celebrities, artists and the cream of society, including Colin Firth, Liz Hurley and Jemima Khan (who all got to share the royal table, lucky things.)
Only a few days ago, we were loving the top-to-toe white ensemble she wore to the Investec Derby Day at Epsom Downs racecourse. The fact that she did it in a Joseph jacket, floaty Reiss dress and LK Bennett shoes and clutch only made it better, earning Catherine the top slot in our week in style.
But this time Catherine pulled out all the stops, going designer for the 10th annual Absolute Return For Kids (ARK) gala dinner, held at Kensington Palace, and rightly so, given her impeccable princess credentials. The feminine, elegant £3.8k Jenny Packham sequinned and beaded full-length evening gown sparkled as she stepped out from the car, revealing a whimsical bow-detail Agatha peep toe heel by LK Bennett, and she also carried a satin LK Bennett clutch.
And ladies take note; while our favourite Duchess of Cambridge went for sparkle and sequins for the dress, she kept the hair and make-up natural, for an overall look that felt fresh, modern and one we all want to steal. And if you love it too, we have all Catherines princess beauty bag secrets here!
Well known for her bridal wear, and increasingly a popular choice for the red carpet, Jenny Packhams dresses have been spotted on numerous celebs, including Angeline Jolie, Blake Lively and Heidi Klum. And now duchesses.
