Newlywed: Kate Moss in her Galliano-designed wedding dress
The fashion world is abuzz as it has been confirmed that 37-year-old supermodel Kate Moss has got hitched to her rocker fiancé Jamie Hince in a dress designed by close friend John Galliano. Kate is also wearing shoes designed especially by Christian Louboutin, with a blue insole, as her ‘something blue.’
The disgraced designer has been a clear favourite to design the dress since she got engaged, having been one of La Moss’ best friends since she was catapulted to international fame. The move is sure to help his now highly damaged reputation, following his trial last week in Paris for offensive remarks.
As this candid snap shows, the bride has her hair loose and is wearing a traditional white lace veil with diamante detail, and her daughter Lila Grace is wearing flowers in her hair. Ahh!
The groom was dressed exclusively by Stefano Pilati in YSL, as was his best ‘man’, fellow The Kills band mate Allison Mosshart.
And what about the rest of the most-fashionable bridal party in history? All the bridesmaids are wearing different dresses, with Trish Simonon wearing a dress by British designer Erdem and Jess Hallett wearing a blue chiffon Stella McCartney dress. Truly a fashion-filled ceremony, Naomi Campbell has opted for Givenchy Haute Couture, and Sadie Frost is wearing Christopher Beale.
