With the Haute Couture autumn/winter 2010 shows drawing to a close in Paris, last night saw the most A-list party of the week yet at designer Valentino Garavani\'s grand 17th century Louis VIII chateau in Versailles. The couturier hosted a star-studded launch party in the grounds of the chateau (beautifully illuminated in his signature red) to celebrate the opening of his archives, which features more than 200 of his sketches dating back to 1959. The guestlist read like a who\'s who of the worlds of fashion and entertainment, with Jessica Alba, Natalia Vodianova (both sizzling in scarlet dresses), Gwyneth Paltrow, Claire Danes, Dasha Zhukova, Christian Louboutin, Olivia Palermo, Marc Jacobs and Margherita Missoni all in attendance. Earlier in the day the stars flocked to the Elie Saab and Jean Paul Gaultier Couture shows, with burlesque star Dita Von Teese making a cameo appearance on the latter\'s catwalk. Chanel was the hot ticket of the previous day, with French actresses Clémence Poésy, Lou Doillon and Anna Mouglalis, plus Gossip Girl stars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, and Japanese star Rinko Kikuchi all perched front row to watch the unveiling of the latest collection at Paris\' Grand Palais (which featured a giant gold lion in the middle of the catwalk). Not one to be outdone, Armani Privé also attracted a whole bunch of stylish starlets to the Hôtel de Vendôme show venue, including Gemma Arterton, Daphne Guinness, Paris Vogue editrix Carine Roitfeld and daughter Julia.
