If like us you just can\'t get enough of Mad Men, the glossy cult TV drama centred around a group of suave New York advertising executives, you\'ll be counting down the days till Season Three hits our screens on 27 January on BBC4. As the awards season kicks off the hit series is, unsurprisingly, a multi-award nominee with the show up for three prizes at this weekend\'s Golden Globes alone. Not only is Mad Men slick, stylish, compelling must-see TV but it has become a fashion phenomenon too, with female viewers in particular cooing over its gorgeous visual style and early ‘60s wardrobe.

The two stars at the forefront of TV\'s latest unmissable drama are American actresses Christina Hendricks and January Jones. Christina, the flame-haired beauty who plays commanding, sex bomb secretary Joan Holloway, demonstrates a masterclass in dressing a knockout hourglass figure, embracing her va-va-voom curves in tweed pencil skirts, pussy bow blouses and colourful separates (on screen), as well as curve-hugging dresses in a rainbow of rich colours to make the most of her assets (off screen). Not one to be outdone, January, the glacial blonde who plays flawless but oppressed housewife Betty Draper, has an on-set wardrobe brimming with pretty full skirts, glamorous evening dresses and impeccable ladylike accessories in the mould of Grace Kelly, while away from the set she opts for daring fashion choices, whether it be on the red carpet or at a party, making her a firm fashion favourite.
