Ever fancied getting your hands on Sienna Miller’s jacket? Or perhaps an Alexander McQueen suit once owned by Helen Mirren? Well, now is your chance, as the Elizabeth Finn Care charity is auctioning off celebrity clobber to help Wrap Up Against Poverty, which helps people in need buy more essential clothing during the winter months.
With 13.5 million people living below the poverty line in the UK, it’s more important than ever to help clothe those in need. The auction, which also features clothing donated from high street stores like Topshop, starts on January 26 and closes on February 26, and will be hosted on eBay.
The director for Elizabeth Finn Care, Malcolm Tyndall said: “We hope that, with the generous support of top celebrities and the fashion industry, not to mention an incredibly enthusiastic public, Wrap Up Against Poverty 2012 will enable us to help even more people find and access the help they desperately need.”
