Christina Hendricks - January 2008

We might know her best as foxy secretary Joan Holloway in Mad Men, but Christina Hendricks has also been impressing us with her off-screen personal style. Christina does not adhere to the cookie-cutter mould of other Hollywood starlets, but she is consistently being voted one of the most attractive ladies on the planet due to her fiery Titian locks, Monroe-esque figure and bombshell looks. Vintage fashions look incredible on Christina; she really suits the early Sixties styles that she wears in Mad Men, and this obviously influences her clothing choices when she is off-duty too. Her red carpet style is pure, unadulterated glamour, which makes her a true style icon in our eyes.

Picture: On one of her first red carpet outings, Christina Hendricks kept things simple with this elegant monochrome outfit. We like the waterfall style ruffled section on this dress – it compliments Ms Hendricks’ porcelain skin. A classic black clutch and court shoes are all that are needed to complete the look.
