Burberry ad models Cara Delevigne and Jourdan Dunn wow the crowds at Serpentine Gallery Summer Party.
Its one of the highlights of the London season, so it seems fitting that the Serpentine Gallery should have hooked up with Brit brand Burberry for its annual fundraising Summer Party. The event was attended by a smorgasbord of the beautiful and glammed, with a full complement of stunning Burberry faces, including models Jourdan Dunn, Cara Delevingne, Liberty Ross and new Burberry face Amber Anderson (looking super-cute in yellow).
Guests were treated to live sets from musicians One Night Only, Life in Film, The Crookes and Misty Miller, who have been runaway successes on the Burberry Acoustic YouTube channel.
Talking about the association with the Serpentine, Burberry's chief creative officer Christopher Bailey said: "We are proud to be continuing the Burberry history of supporting the arts. It is particularly exciting to be working with the Serpentine Gallery a space synonymous with creativity in a very iconic British location."
Jourdan Dunn whose Burberry summer 2011 campaign shoot with male model Sacha MBaye was one of the brands big hitters of the season looked stunning in brown satin Burberry, reminding us that she is very much back on the scene. We also loved Poppy and Cara Delevingnes boho luxe vibe, Lily Donaldsons semi-sheer little white tea dress, Liberty Ross in electric blue (so this season, natch) and Amber Andersons canary yellow dress shes one of Burberrys faces for autumn/winter 2011 so no doubt well be seeing a lot more of Amber in the coming months.
Held in the grounds of the gallery, the party also unveiled this seasons latest gallery accessory, the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion, designed this year by architect Peter Zumthor. This now annual temporary structure is always one of our favourite destinations in the summer months for afternoon tea and people watching - definitely something for the weekend...
