Michelle Williams
Who could have predicted that girl-next-door Jen Lindley from schmaltzy teen drama Dawson's Creek would become such a style icon? Not us, that's for sure. But Michelle Williams has done just that and is now revered by women all around the world for her impeccable sense of style. The twice Oscar-nominated actress (she got the nod for her role in Brokeback Mountain in 2005 and another for Blue Valentine ), is not a party circuit kinda gal - she much prefers playing mother to cute-as-a-button daughter Matilda.
When she does hit the red carpet to promote one of her films she displays a flawless innate sense of style in '60s-inspired dresses, vintage pieces and daring evening gowns. But it's her off-duty style that truly demonstrates her knack of pulling together a stylish outfit. Her look is practical, low-key and a bit boyish with denim cut-off shorts, plaid shirts, smock dresses, duffle coats and clogs - all signature Williams pieces. She is sweet, classy and graceful and her clothes always reflect that. Never flashy and never over-styled (she confesses to hating wearing jewellery) she always looks understated and adorable. So join us as we take a closer look at the style transformation of Michelle Williams.
