The vamp (and vampire) is back, in the form of Megan Fox. After a string of minor roles, she broke through with a steamy role in Transformers opposite Shia LaBoeuf (2007). This led to her becoming a men\'s magazine pin-up, most commonly seen flaunting her curvy body in a bikini. Her flawless beauty, tattoos and penchant for an outrageous quip ("Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands," she told American GQ) drew comparisons with Angelina Jolie.

Her upcoming film Jennifer\'s Body, in which she plays a high school student vampire who feeds on the blood of "hot guys", will only up the ante. The trailer on YouTube, featuring an already infamous scene where she swims naked in a lake, had, at time of writing, had 116,517 views in three weeks.

Despite being romantically linked to co-star Shia LaBoeuf, she is still together with actor Brian Green, who starred in the original Beverly Hills 90210.

Off-duty, her look is classic noughties Hollywood starlet, with shorts, flip flops and shades all regular staples. Put her on the red carpet, however, and the girl morphs into a vampish siren: the latest round of premieres and press photo calls for Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen saw her in a series of sultry form-hugging dresses, statement accessories and towering heels, teamed with Veronica Lake hair waves and deep crimson lipstick accentuating her naturally va-va voom features.
