Oh, to be celebrity fashion icon Kate Bosworth. Not only has she been romantically linked to some of the world\'s most scrummy male specimens (here\'s looking at you Orlando Bloom, James Rousseau and Aleksander Skasgård), but her wardrobe is the subject of some serious fashion envy here on the Handbag fashion desk. Just how does she do it?

Well, we couldn\'t possibly comment on the boys but style-wise, it helps if you\'re chummy with the most sought-after designers in the industry. Unlike some celebrities, who look awkward decked out in their high-end togs, La Bosworth is often photographed on the red carpet with the designer who has dressed her, looking like she\'s having a hoot. Stella McCartney is a close friend but Kate manages to look equally relaxed and comfortable with her arm slung conspirationally around Karl Lagerfeld - surely, no mean feat.

Despite being a mere 26 years old, Kate has earned her stripes in Hollywood. The LA-born blonde burst on to the scene in 1998 smash-hit film The Horse Whisperer and cemented her fame with surfing epic Blue Crush in 2002. Blackjack movie 21, 2008, was also a big moment for her, but she perhaps remains best known for playing Lois Lane in 2006\'s Superman Returns.

It was around that time that she attracted fierce media criticism after she became increasingly thin. She took note, regained a healthy weight, found her style mojo and has barely looked back since.
