Dakota Fanning is part of the new generation of teen actresses who are making waves thanks to their acting skills rather than their off-duty party antics. The 17-year-old had her big break in War of the Worlds and has since starred in the Twilight movies and alongside Kristen Stewart again in The Runaways. Dakota is a front-row fixture at with her younger sister Elle and has modeled for Marc Jacobs’s fragrance, Oh, Lola! (the ad was banned in the UK). She’s becoming known for her smart fashion picks, opting for designers like Valentino, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Rodarte for her red carpet appearance, but sensibly always keeps her hair and make-up natural and age-appropriate.
The young starlet attending the premiere of her film Push in January 2009 in a simple strapless grey dress with matching sandals. This is quite a sophisticated look for a young teenager but the actress doesn’t look too mature or overdressed.
