The Cannes Film Festival 2011 has kicked off! And kicked off in serious style too. The glitterati flocked to the sun-drenched French Riviera yesterday as the 64th annual film fest opened to a blaze of flashbulbs. The opening ceremony also acted as the premiere of legendary director Woody Allen’s latest offering, Midnight In Paris, starring Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams, who looked gorgeous in a red silk organza and tulle dress by Marchesa. Elsewhere on the red carpet, Hollywood icons, international film stars and supermodels (trust us, the opening ceremony had the lot) jostled for space in front of the scrum of photographers.
