The Brit Awards have never scored high on our fashion radar and just because they were celebrating their 30th year, the 2010 Awards were no exception.

The fashion disasters came thick and fast, both on stage (Lily Allen) and off (erm... Lily Allen). But of course there were a few diamonds in the rough, most notably Florence Welch who not only gave the night’s best performance and scooped the night’s most coveted prize (Best British album), but won in the fashion stakes too in her third change of the evening, this vintage Roksanda Ilincic gown.

Lily Allen

Despite picking up the Brit for Best British Female Artist, Lily\'s sartorial choices on her big night left us bewildered. From this bejewelled bin bag, to the leather and lace corset ensemble she picked for her big performance, it was definitely a case of stylist\'s night off.

Mel B & Geri Halliwell

Picking up a special Brit Award for the most memorable Brit\'s performance of the last 30 years, ex Spice Girls Mel B & Geri Halliwell were a fashion ying and yang. Scary Spice has never looked better with a body to kill for and a striking new hairdo (shaved on one side and covered with glitter), while Geri looked like she\'d spent the last 10 years on a sun bed then popped down the market for a dress at the last minute. Oh Geri.

Mel B: 7/10

Geri Halliwell: 2/10 

Pixie Lott

Despite missing out on the Brit for Best Breakthrough Act, Pixie won major brownie points for her sleek and stylish look on the night.

Leona Lewis

Gadzooks! We\'ve been wishing Leona would get more confident in herself and her wardrobe choices but, as they say, be careful what you wish for. The dress has possibilities but oh my eyes, the shoes! Back to the middle-aged floor-length fishtail gowns for you, my girl.

Courtney Love

OK, try and see past the hair for a second and soak up the Miu Miu gorgeousness of Courtney\'s outfit. The orchid necklace finishes the look off in true bohemian rock-goddess style.

Katherine Jenkins

God loves a trier, but seriously, could Katherine try any harder? While we admire her touching McQueen tribute (the dress is one of his classic designs), the hair and shoe combo do neither of them any justice. Sorry Katherine, never thought we\'d say this but... must try harder!

Fearne Cotton

Another good night for Fearne. This arrival outfit is just the right balance of sexy LBD, cool vintage biker jacket and this season\'s hottest hairstyle. Her polka-dot presenter’s outfit hit all the right notes too.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga swept the board at the awards, taking home a hatrick of statues and giving a mesmerising performance along the way, but this spooky chess piece ensemble left us puzzled. But then that was the whole point, right?

No surprises here, this is a really pretty dress and a safe and successful choice.

This is a stunning dress but it\'s swamping Kylie\'s tiny frame. So near...

The jury\'s out on her debut single, but the debut outfit by Vivienne Westwood definitely shows promise.
