It was only a matter of time before the fashion world recognised the talent of Ab Fab stars Eddie and Patsy, and now it has, with the twosome starring in New York based jeweller Alexis Bittar’s Autumn/Winter 2012 ad campaign. The fashion PR and magazine editor have always been popular with the British public, as well as the fashion press, so here at Handbag we think it’s about time they landed their own campaign!
The fashionable pair, played by Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley, are in full on Ab Fab mode for the shoot, clutching shopping bags, waving champagne and donning tourist paraphernalia, including ubiquitous Statue of Liberty hats and I heart New York t-shirts. It’s like a scene straight from the show itself.
Photographed by John Swannell, the campaign shots will be in print in time for the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection hitting stores later this year. Watch this space sweetie.
