Emma Watson
Emma Watson is fashions new darling. The December cover of British Vogue, an ad campaign for Burberry (with the brands chief creative director Christopher Bailey recently accompanying her down the red carpet), not to mention posing backstage at Chanel with Karl Lagerfeld: the evidence is there for all to see. People clearly care a great deal about this Harry Potter star, whether its judging her appearance on the beach in a black bikini and wondering what she looks like naked - loving or hating her new short haircut, or debating whether theres any truth to the rumours shes dating fellow Burberry model George Craig (onscreen, of course, its all about the chemistry between her and co-star Rupert Grint). But they also want to know what shes wearing, at which fashion shows she sat front row and what labels shes wearing while studying at Brown University in America.
Style-wise, shes always been about quietly effective elegance, with low heels and midi-length cocktail dresses firm wardrobe favourites. Shes not afraid of pulling off a fashion statement when the occasion calls for it, though, as her appearance in a super-mini mustard dress by Burberry with a fierce platform heel was testament to.
With her new film, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1, due for release on 19 November 2010, well no doubt be seeing a great deal more red carpet fashion moments from the lovely Ms. Watson. In the meantime, sit back and take a stroll through her style evolution over the years...
