Emma Watson

Emma Watson is fashion’s new darling. The December cover of British Vogue, an ad campaign for Burberry (with the brand’s chief creative director Christopher Bailey recently accompanying her down the red carpet), not to mention posing backstage at Chanel with Karl Lagerfeld: the evidence is there for all to see. People clearly care a great deal about this Harry Potter star, whether it’s judging her appearance on the beach in a black bikini – and wondering what she looks like naked - loving or hating her new short haircut, or debating whether there’s any truth to the rumours she’s dating fellow Burberry model George Craig (onscreen, of course, it’s all about the chemistry between her and co-star Rupert Grint). But they also want to know what she’s wearing, at which fashion shows she sat front row and what labels she’s wearing while studying at Brown University in America.

Style-wise, she’s always been about quietly effective elegance, with low heels and midi-length cocktail dresses firm wardrobe favourites. She’s not afraid of pulling off a fashion statement when the occasion calls for it, though, as her appearance in a super-mini mustard dress by Burberry with a fierce platform heel was testament to.

With her new film, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1, due for release on 19 November 2010, we’ll no doubt be seeing a great deal more red carpet fashion moments from the lovely Ms. Watson. In the meantime, sit back and take a stroll through her style evolution over the years...
