Playful, youthful and fun: these are the words that spring to mind on seeing Sportmax\'s collection, which is as it should be, considering it is the little sister to Maxmara, the grande dame of Milanese fashion. Bolts of orange, in the form of cropped pleat front trousers or an A-line skirt, were interspersed among charcoal grey or black wool swing coats and skirt-suits. On a lighter note, the Mozart ruffle neck, sheer blouses and dresses were a delight, with a pleated edging wrapping its way around the neck of a blouse like gladioli in bloom.
