There is nothing outlandish and wacky from Osman, but there are beautifully draped silhouettes, clean-cut dresses and jackets, swishing confidently down the catwalk. Its easy to see how Osmans LBD collection for Mango in 2008 was such a big hit; the man knows what makes women look good and is a serious believer in tailoring to emphasise your best bits.
In line with his previous collections, Osmans shows a minimalist collection based around black, white and textures, with flashes of leather thrown in for good measure. His signature patterns for autumn/winter were hand stitched embroidered brocades of lime and fuchsia appearing on oversized cuffs, collars and on the tails of dresses showing his love for ancient cultures.
Every outfit was teamed with lace-up ankle boots designed in collaboration with Lemaresca. Favourites were boots with the brocades and ankle boot mules, which could easily become the shape to look out for next winter.
