Erdem spring/summer 2011.
Using nature, and flowers in particular, as his inspiration once more, Erdem Moralioglu went for a light and virginal mood with this exquisite long sleeved cream dress. It has just the right amount of sexiness thanks to a smattering of embroidered flowers in ruby red and peekaboo lace panels on the chest and thighs. Stunning.

Part tribal warrior, part cyberpunk, I love the way this dress makes a print inspired by the tattoos of Japanese gangsters look so pretty with stripes of candy pink adding a pop of colour.

Not only does this striking dress feature a print of a room interior (dining table and chairs below a window looking out to a lush garden in neon pink and mint green), but it also boasts a pelmet-like structure around the shoulders and a skirt of flowing chiffon that closely resembles curtains. Its quirky, its original and if its good enough for Vogue Nippons Anna Dello Russo, its good enough for me.

The crisp white body of this column dress creates a serene mood against the busy blue, black and grey print, creating a gorgeous and dramatic look. I like it, a lot.

This show channelled the 70s with a collection brimming with festival queen dresses, glam rock Perspex heels and candy floss crimped hair. Of all the looks though, this one stood out with its dream-like desert come cosmic print, bell sleeves and fringed bag evoking thoughts of heady summer nights of escapism.

The warm caramel tone of this dress is chic, while the glossy leather and black fang-like detail on the chest give it an edge.

Charles Anastase spring/summer 2011.
Fashion may be having a 70s moment right now, but this knitted off the shoulder dress by French designer Charles Anastase is pure 1980s. Part Emmanuelle Seigner in Roman Palanskis Frantic, part Kelly Kapowski from teen hit Saved By The Bell, its sexy and I want it in my wardrobe now.\"

This little black dress is anything but boring. What makes it stand out is its asymmetric neckline, gorgeous bouclé material and the touches of sheer black.
