Gareth Pugh is today\'s enfant terrible of the British fashion world. Where once Alexander McQueen shocked with bumsters, now Pugh gives us an armour-like dress made entirely of zippers. His sharp, aggressive shapes speak of a dark, fantasy world, where warriors are dressed for urban warfare in skins, metal and fur, entirely in a variation of black. These front-page grabbing looks are just part of the bigger picture, however, as Pugh is clearly a master of his craft: a black leather mini dress with cubist-shaped shoulders (on Canadian model Coco Rocha) was a sexy riff on eighties designer Thierry Mugler, while his long haired, black coats and dresses are something you could see Kate Moss wearing. Let\'s just hope this bright light of London design doesn\'t get scooped up by a foreign fashion house.
