The Emporio Armani show moved away from its trademark loose, flowing style, to a more structured silhouette. This meant a sharp little grey tailored skirt suit, a chocolate brown pleat-front skirt in silk satin, and pleat-front trousers in the famous Armani grey-beige, or greige, as it has come to be known. There was also a nice, soft leather jacket in metallic silver, which opened at the neck to reveal oversize poppers. Even though the shape was more structured than normal, the overall Armani mood of understated elegance prevailed.
