There are a fair few themes weve seen running across London Fashion Week - peplums, animal motifs and the occasional flash of bright colour all cropped up at several shows. David Komas autumn/winter 2012 show was no exception.
Koma drew inspiration for his show from several different decades for his collection high necked dresses were drawn from the 1920s, while the aforementioned animal motifs formed part of a series of monochrome, art deco prints. There was also a touch of the 1960s in his kicky shift dresses a decade that several designers have paid homage to throughout the week. Slick, elegant and low-key this was a well-put together, cohesive collection, even if it did lack some of the spark of his spring/summer show.
