Burberry have been coming over all raunchy of late; Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s ad campaign for Burberry’s new scent The Body shows the gorgeous model writhing around in nothing but a Burberry trench, while their Spring/Summer 2012 are the first to feature a couple since 2008.
The campaign features one of our favourite up-and-coming actors, Eddie Redmayne, alongside model Cara Delevingne. In the first shot, Eddie, who recently starred in My Week with Marilyn, can be seen playfully rolling around with Cara, both wearing iconic Burberry trench coats. For the second one, Eddie clutches a cup of tea, leaning forward as Cara has her hand on his shoulder.
The playful and youthful aesthetic of the images conjures up the same feel as The Body adverts, and Cara’s pose in the first one even mimics Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s in her fragrance ads.
Eddie explains: "Christopher wanted something playful from the shoot and so Cara and I had a genius couple of days fooling around. Hopefully the enjoyment we had is reflected in the campaign." You could say that, yes!
The full campaign will launch on January 4 2012.
