Cover girl Beth Ditto to design range for Evans

In what can only be described as a major coup, highstreet store Evans has signed The Gossip singer Beth Ditto to design a capsule range for them. Set to hit stores in July, the collection is in its early stages at the moment but is sure to be a reflection of Beth's signature style - bright, loud and unashamedly sexy.
Inspired by the '80s, the high summer designs will feature graphic dresses, oversized knitwear and a selection of hot accessories. "Everyone at Evans is really excited and so is Beth" said an Evans spokesperson, and it seems that hopes are high that this won't just be a one-off collaboration.
No news yet on whether Beth will be the face of her new collection but we're guessing she's a shoe-in for the job. With rumours flying around the fashion world that a naked Ditto is to be the cover star of the launch issue of Katie Grand's new magazine Love next month, it seems she's one in-demand lady.
