She's the British television presenter and It girl who's taking America by storm, appearing in countless magazine spreads, hosting her own MTV show, It's On With Alexa Chung (audience figures are said to have tripled in the first month and the show is switching from an afternoon to a primetime evening slot) and being embraced by the New York fashion scene. It seems Alexa Chung's decision to up sticks and move to New York with boyfriend Alex Turner, lead singer of the Arctic Monkeys, was a very wise one indeed. In one week alone the 25-year-old has attended the New York premiere of Quentin Tarantino's new Nazi killing fantasy Inglourious Basterds, a screening of the Vogue documentary film The September Issue, designer Charlotte Ronson's I Heart Charlotte Ronson collection launch and hosted a cocktail party at the Fifth Avenue department store Saks for Calvin Klein Collection. At each event she wore a suitably stylish outfit, rubbing shoulders with the likes of American Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Samantha Ronson, Francisco Costa, Sienna Miller, Diane Kruger and Agyness Deyn.
