Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is in talks to start a modelling agency with pop supremo Simon Fuller.

Victoria BeckhamWith her pop star days firmly behind her, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is continuing her assault on the fashion world and is believed to be in talks to set up an American modelling agency.

According to reports in the Daily Mail newspaper, talks are underway for Beckham and her manager Simon Fuller - chief executive of the celebrity management firm 19 Entertainment and creator of the Spice Girls - to launch a modelling agency in New York. It is understood that Beckham, who launched her fashion label dVb under the guidance of Fuller, is thrashing out an agreement with other business leaders this week.

Fuller, who also created the Idol television music talent show franchise, is the man behind many of the Beckhams' fashion ventures including Victoria's dVb denim line, her sunglasses range and her Victoria Beckham dresses collection, which has proved a commercial and critical hit. What's more, many credit the Hastings-born entertainment impresario with making David Beckham, who he also manages, the richest footballer in the world.

Already a leader in the music and entertainment business, in August 2006 Fuller entered the fashion world through 19RM, a joint venture company he set up with designer Roland Mouret. His 19 Entertainment firm also bought a 51% stake in the London-based modelling agency Storm in August.

Besides the Beckhams, his celebrity roster includes Britain's number one tennis star Andy Murray, newly crowned Formula 1 champion Jenson Button, model Claudia Schiffer, Annie Lennox, Will Young and the England football team.
