Six of the best... Super sized clutch bags

Marc, Karl, Miuccia; if you want to be en vogue with the zeitgeist you're going to have to upgrade to super-size because this season they say the clutch bag is out sized, over sized, any size - as long as it's BIG.

The clutch deluxe was seen on the Louis Vuitton, Fendi and Prada runways, to name just a few but, as with any take-off trend, the jumbo-sized clutch has filtered down to the celebrity stratosphere and has been seen under the arms of Mary Kate Olsen

and Sarah Jessica Parker.  SJP carried the feathery Salvatore Ferragamo clutch (above) while on the set of the Sex and the City the movie, and you know if Carrie Bradshaw is wearing it we should be on high trend alert.

The highstreet has taken the key themes from the catwalk.  LK Bennett's frame clutch is a hot option while Accessorize's version embraces the squishy textured look seen at Fendi.  However a six of the best super-sized clutches wouldn't be complete without a Prada, the fade two tone envelope clutch (another touted by SJP on set) has to be the heavy weight winner for me
