The Sartorialist on paper
The street style blog gets a book deal. By Jemma Tibbals
What's the fashion fan's procrastinating destination of choice? More often than not it will be a street style blog where they can get inspired by other people's style, pass judgement and get a world view of what's in fashion now. The Sartorialist is one of the most popular street style blogs on the web, second only to Stockholmstreetstyle (according to bloglovin.com), and its faithful following will be excited to hear it will soon be available in print form.
Scott Schuman, the creator of The Sartorialist, has had massive success since starting his blog in 2005. He has shot the current spring/summer 09 ad campaign for DKNY Jeans and has just confirmed a 500 page book deal with Penguin consisting of his street style pictures. The paperback is set to be published in September 2009, so keep your eyes peeled.
