Folklore
By Jemma Tibbals
Get ready for a hoedown of folksy embroidery and patchwork prints this summer. Bohemian style is back, only this time you've got to get crafty with a mixture of ethnic accessories and vivid smocks in paisley or polka dot or, even better, both. Prints are busy but come in natural colours that work well with a tan and if you really want to embrace the hippy vibe, bare feet. Pair smocks with towering wooden platforms, while floor-sweeping maxis look best with flat ethnic sandals. The key is to look like you've been to a mythical country or festival and stocked up on unique handmade bags and bangles, when in fact you've only nipped to the high street.
