What do Gap and Marc Jacobs have in common?
Artist Mike Mills designs capsule collection for Gap. By Jemma Tibbals
You can be pretty certain that if Marc Jacobs has collaborated with someone, they're cool. Which is good news for Gap because they've just brought artist Mike Mills, who designed a range of graphics for Jacobs in 1996, on board to collaborate on a capsule collection of T-shirts and accessories.
The pieces which feature Mills' signature style of bright, graffiti-like designs are from his most recent personal project called Humans. In the past Mills has not only joined forces with talents like French synth-pop band Air (he does all of their artwork) and the Beastie Boys but also directed indie-Hollywood flick Thumbsucker.
The collection is in Gap stores nationwide now. T-shirts £15.
