Handbag of the week: Chloé

Paulo Melim Andersson's au revoir to Chloé, on stepping down as the fashion house's creative director in March of this year, was to depart on an exceptional accessory high.  Chain-handled shoulder bags with geometric wooden shapes came in classic grown-up black or a hotch-potch of tonal greens and maroons.

This blush pink python clutch set the handbag bar high for Andersson's successor Hannah MacGibbon.  However we're positive after seeing her spring/summer 09 offering of gigantic striped totes and cute clutches that we won't be disappointed.
