Blake Lively vs Leighton Meester

We just can't get enough of Gossip Girl, the latest hit US TV show to air from across the pond.  The scandalous teen drama gives an exciting glimpse into the glamorous world of New York's privileged high school students living in the Upper East Side. 

   Not only have the juicy storylines got us hooked, but, like Sex And The City and the OC (the executive producer of which, Josh Schwartz, also produces Gossip Girl) before it, the clothes on Gossip Girl ain't too shabby either, and have caught our fashion eye.

   The two girls at the forefront of TV's latest must-see are American actresses Blake Lively and Leighton Meester who play tempestuous friends Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf respectively. The girls' characters are often spotted in oh-so stylish labels such as Alexander Wang, Vena Cava and Lorick, and luckily for us, away from the show Blake and Leighton are finding their fashion feet too, mixing cool downtown New York style with chic evening glamour wear and boasting a wardrobe most girls would die for.
