Christian Louboutin designs gift boxes for Ladurée

Shoe designer Christian Louboutin and Parisian tea salon Ladurée collaborate on limited edition gift boxes.

One of these iconic French brands makes indulgent treats for your feet, the other delicious treats you can eat. Shoe designer Christian Louboutin has paired up with macaroon specialists Ladurée to make a range of illustrated gift boxes.

Louboutin's signature sketches appear on three boxes which come in varying sizes to fit six, eight, or - for the really decadent amongst us - 18 macaroons. Drawings of his scarlet-soled sky-high heels are drawn in pastel shades and look almost as delectable as the famed macaroons themselves. Ladurée's pastry chef and maker of all things indulgent Philippe Andrieu, meanwhile, has taken inspiration from Louboutin's designs and experimented to make a selection of limited edition macaroon flavours including fig and date, to tie-in with the collaboration.
The limited edition gift boxes are available from 11 September at Ladurée's Harrods and Burlington Arcade Gallery branches.
