Tomas Maier of Bottega Veneta neither surprised nor disappointed with his elegant show, each model a dead ringer for Tippi Hedren's  character in The Birds. The woven clutches paraded towards the end were the perfect foil to the chic, ladylike dresses and separates, which came in a vaguely Forties silhouette with sharp shoulders and nipped-in waists.
