Asprey

Hakan Rosenius, the designer at Asprey, sent out a quietly elegant collection, which took a back seat to the luxury handbags swinging from each model's arm. Classic shapes, such as a cut-away neckline to elongate the neck, or a capped sleeve to slim the arm, were saved from being too granny-like by short, kicky hemlines. Large tiered ruffles, which have been a trend across the London shows, appeared on coats and dresses, most effectively on a short evening coat with a beautiful rose print on a black background.
