Alexander Wang designs a collection for Gap
Great news girls, Alexander Wang has designed a collection for Gap based on their classic khaki's...
Hold the front page! Gap have just announced that American wunderkind designer (and our major fashion crush) Alexander Wang has designed a collection for the high street retailer. Wang is one of the three CFDA/Vogue Fashion fund winners including Albertus Swanepoel and Vena Cava's Lisa Maycock and Sophie Buhai who have been asked to rework the classic Gap Khaki's. The resulting collections launch in Gap flagship stores on 16 June, which for the UK means only Oxford Street, London unfortunately. Highlights of the Wang collection are the cropped biker jacket at £45 and the slouchy boyfriend pea coat for £68, while the Vena Cava printed dresses, which look pretty special, are an extremely reasonable £48. Better get up at the crack of dawn for this launch though girls, If the hype surrounding Wang at the moment is anything to go by, the whole collection will be gone in 60 seconds.
