Treatment: The facial begins with a soothing deep cleanse and exfoliation before the hydrodermabrasion treatment starts. Hydrodermabrasion is a unique alternative to micro-dermabrasion, utilising the power of water and oxygen at supersonic speed to gently remove excessive aged skin cells, leaving your skin deeply hydrated, refreshed and smooth. This is a chilly part of the treatment but you remain warm and cosy within the spa\'s cocoon-esque duvet. After the hydrodermabrasion, your skin is at its optimum condition to receive the benefits from the Dr Bragi products that are then massaged in, plumping up the skin with the hardworking marine enzymes. Skin is left refined and hydrated. The Dr Bragi intensive mask is applied and left to work while you are treated to a deeply relaxing shoulder, upper back, neck and head massage. This treatment is particularly good for people who find normal microdermabrasion too abrasive. It also helps with specific conditions like rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and acne.
Spa setting: The reception area is chic and bright and the staff are welcoming and professional. They happily answer any questions you may have regarding the treatment and the products, but there was no pressure to buy. The treatment room was cosy and well equipped with a comfy spa bed and super-warm duvet cover to snuggle under providing an extremely comfortable spa experience.

Follow this with an anti-ageing facial specific to your skin type and you\'ll leave feeling and looking like a new woman.
We opted for the thermal soothing massage followed with a Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing facial (great for combination skin prone to breakouts) and left feeling blissfully spaced out, the perfect antidote to a long and stressful week.

Treatment: First, your skin is cleansed and spritzed with their cooling toner. Your therapist may also deal with any further congestion here such as removing blackheads - which can make your eyes water but is well worth the results. They apply a light vitamin C scrub over the skin to decongest and remove any dead skin cells, which is great for those who live in the city. This is then removed and the concentrated treatment for your skin type is applied to your face and neck and a soothing green tea extract applied to any spots or areas that need healing. The serum, containing a high concentration of vitamin C, is formulated to improve appearance and stimulate collagen production to renew skin\'s firmness. The mask is smoothed over your skin to hydrate and boost the radiance and finally you are treated to a relaxing (I completely dozed off) face and neck massage with their vitamin C boosting face cream.
You leave with a spritz more of toner and a dash of eye cream, as you dreamily head back home. It was bliss and so much more than just a relaxing facial as results are plain to see and skin is left feeling perky, clean and revitalised.
Spa setting: The treatment rooms are luxurious, with low lighting, comfortable treatment beds and warm super fluffy towels.

Treatment: Lay back, relax and feel the benefits of this re-energising facial - simple! The treatment begins with lavender-infused breathing exercises to relax, followed by deep cleansing, exfoliation, steaming and extraction. Then unwind as your therapist applies four masks - rosehip, seaweed, honey & jasmine and collagen to rejuvenate the skin, while you have your hands, feet, arms and scalp massaged. What\'s more, the lymphatic massage movements and the rose crystals used in this facial lift, firm and bring life back to flagging skin.
I went into their salon feeling uptight, stressed and mobbed by the festive shoppers on Oxford Street. I left feeling utterly relaxed, calm and with skin looking better than I\'ve seen it in a long time.
Spa setting: Situated within the modern and bright Organic Pharmacy stores, the treatment rooms are comfortable and well equipped with soft lighting to help you leave the stresses of the day far behind.

Perfect for: Those who are looking for a bespoke treatment that encompasses all parts of a great facial including deep cleansing, extraction, toning and the little extras that finish a look.
Treatment process: The facial consists of full extraction (yes, it\'s not very pleasant but it\'s good for you!), eyebrow tidying, eyelash tinting, a neck and shoulder massage (simply amazing, by the way). There\'s also cleansing, masks and facial massage designed to lift the skin - perfect if you feel the chops are getting a bit droopy these days. Each facial is tailored to the individual\'s skin needs - as ever mine was dryer than the Gobi - and so I was treated to the best in hydrating beauty products.
When I left, sans any make up, my skin looked fresh and radiant and felt so clean I refused to wear make-up for days post-treatment. Which ultimately is what you want from a facial - skin so good you can go au naturel.
Spa setting: The EF MediSpa, Kensington blurs the lines between medical clinic and spa so don\'t expect any plinky-plonky music and candles, but it does boast London\'s most comprehensive menu of holistic and medical aesthetic treatments. Having said that the treatment rooms are calming in their sterility and the staff are welcoming and talented.
