This colourful mix of grapefruit, pomegranate and gin is perfect for summer...

'Hackney Hurricane' cocktail inspired by songstress Paloma Faith

We reckon Paloma Faith would love this fruity and flowery cocktail inspired by her London roots and her show-stopping style.

The 'Hackney Hurricane' has been created by expert mixologist and Creative Director at 'All About the Cocktail', Charlie McCarthy.

Taking into account Paloma's retro styling, quirky stage outfits and modern pop music, this tipple blends a combination of classic ingredients with some out-of-the-box flourishes.

Fill a Hurricane Glass with ice cubes and add 35ml of Martin Miller's London Dry Gin to get things off to a bang. Top everything off with equal parts Ting (a fizzy Jamaican grapefruit juice) and pomegranate juice. Simple and completely delicious.

Finish with some chunky fruit slices and some fresh flowers for a Caribbean twist. Anyone for the ultimate show stopper cocktail?

The full range of 'Headliner Cocktails' has been commissioned by travel retailer World Duty Free in collaboration with Charlie McCarthy and glassware artist Melissa Bailey, to celebrate its Summer Drinks Festival. Find the recipes here.
