Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has become the poster girl for homemade healthy treats. Not only because she looks a-mazing, but also she keeps posting these lovely pictures of healthy, organic food that we want to scoff.
Over the weekend, the model used her Vitamix super blender (it juices, cooks, grinds and freezes in one clever little thing) to whip up a batch of homemade peach sorbet.
She said, 'Happy Easter everyone! On the menu tonight my homemade Peach Sorbet #soymilk #agave #vanillaextract #frozenpeaches #vitamix'
The nutritious peaches are high in fiber and are made up of 80% water, so not only do they fill you up, they help to flush out the body. They are also loaded with vitamin A and good for the skin.
The soy milk doesn't contain dairy and is full of B vitamins and agave (well, it wouldn't be healthy without a whacky plant or some form of sea kelp in it) is a natural sweetener that comes from the agave plant. It's sweeter than honey and is unprocessed. It is often used by vegans and those wanting to stock up on natural enzymes.
This is a much healthier alternative to scoffing ice cream (and anything served in a martini glass is fine by us).
