Jay Z and Beyoncé are being accused of trivialising domestic violence after rapping the words, "I am Ike Turner…Baby know I don't play. Now eat the cake, Anna Mae. Said Eat the Cake, Anna Mae" for Drunk in Love.

The lyric references Tina Turner (who's real name is Anna Mae) who was subjected to horrific rape and abuse by her husband Ike. In one particularly awful incident, Ike forced Tina to eat cake in public by forcibly shoving it into her mouth after she said she didn't want any.

When Tina's backing vocalist tried to stop the abuse, Ike beat her and threatened her until she left.

So why on earth would Beyoncé and Jay Z want to sing about something so awful? People on Twitter are not happy...
