The facts don't lie and a huge percentage of British women are (and continue to) wear the wrong size bra. 87% are even having health issues because of it!
Whether you're confused over back size or struggling with uncomfortable cups, there is a bra out there that's perfect for you, so don't give up.
We asked the fitting experts at Ann Summers to reveal their 'five point check' when it comes to finding the perfect bra.
Take a look and work out if your balconettes, bustiers and boosters and working for you...
The band of the bra: The band should sit horizontally around the body and should not move when you do. You should be able to pull the band about an inch away from your body at the back, but no more.
The straps: Bra strap support should come from the band, so the straps should not dig into the shoulder or fall down.
The centre front: This should lay comfortably flat against your body supporting the breasts but not digging into the skin.
The underwire: The bra's wire should create the shape of the bra and encase the breasts. Any kinks or bends in the wire mean your bra is worn or broken...splash out and get one that fits!
The cups: Different cup sizes suit different styles, but you should not spill out of the top of it creating the dreaded 'quadraboob' effect and they shouldn't be too loose, which creates a sagging look. The perfect bra should sit comfortably on the breasts.
